Women Inspiring Network (WIN), founded by Stuti Jalan, made a significant impact at Climate Week NYC 2024. The event, which took place in New York from 22 to 29 September, ran in conjunction with the United Nations General Assembly. WIN, a pioneering digital platform, continues to spotlight the remarkable journeys of women from various industries such as wellness, fashion, film, journalism, and activism. Through its online presence, WIN has successfully brought attention to these inspirational narratives, often overlooked in traditional media.
For this edition, Stuti curated an insightful panel titled "Driving Sustainable Futures through Women's Leadership in STEM" at the World Woman Future Forum, held at the Microsoft Office in Times Square. The panel featured leading voices like Rashmi Joshi, CEO & Founder of Asha AI, Jyotsana Sankuratri, Assistant Vice President and Head of Corporate Apps at Voya Financial, Andrea Feigl, Founder & CEO of the Health Finance Institute, and Japneet Kaur, Security & Risk Management Lead.
Reflecting on her whirlwind week in New York, Stuti Jalan shared her experiences during Climate Week NYC 2024 and the Clinton Global Initiative, shining a light on women who are pushing boundaries and leading change in the fields of science, technology, and sustainability. WIN continues to amplify the voices of female changemakers and provide a platform for their stories, connecting people across the globe.
I had the privilege of participating in Climate Week NYC 2024 and the Clinton Global Initiative, and for the first time, I saw the city through a new lens: as a powerful intersection of business, big agendas, and sustainability. - Stuti Jalan, Founder of WIN
"I’ve visited New York countless times, but this trip was different. There’s always that electric energy in the air—the ultra-cool, buzzing vibe that pulls you in—but this time, I was there with a purpose far greater than before. From 23-27 September, I had the privilege of participating in Climate Week NYC 2024 and the Clinton Global Initiative, and for the first time, I saw the city through a new lens: as a powerful intersection of business, big agendas, and sustainability.
My schedule was packed to the brim, with back-to-back events and thought-provoking discussions, so I made a conscious decision to swap my stilettos for sneakers. This week wasn’t about glam but about action—about running across the city, engaging in conversations that matter, and pushing boundaries. I even set myself a personal challenge of hitting 20K steps a day, shedding two kilos in the process!
My first stop was Climate Week, where I had the honour of moderating three-panel discussions on some of the issues closest to my heart—STEM, fashion, culture, and sustainability. It was an incredible experience to be joined by such a dynamic and influential group of women leaders. Among them were Jyotsana Sankuratri, AVP at Voya Financial; Rashmi Joshi, CEO of Asha AI; Andrea Feigl, Founder of the Health Finance Institute; Nayana Kodesia, Founder and Creative Director of NYNA and DUMROO; and Shelley Worrell, CEO of I AM CARIBBEING, to name a few.
Listening to their bold visions and sharp perspectives on how we can leverage sustainability to build a better world left me inspired. These weren’t just ideas floating in the air—these were real, actionable steps driven by human ingenuity. The kind of ingenuity that’s essential if we want to curate a brighter, more sustainable future.
Then came an unexpected, unforgettable invitation: an opportunity to be part of the Creators Hub at the Clinton Global Initiative (CGI). It was surreal, being in the same room as President Joe Biden, First Lady Jill Biden, Bill Clinton, and even Prince Harry. The atmosphere was electric, filled with doers, Nobel laureates, activists, celebrities, and leaders from every corner of the world.
I still remember running into Richard Branson in an elevator and catching up with Chelsea Clinton, whom I hadn’t seen in ten years. Chelsea gave a wonderful shoutout to WIN and echoed her grandmother’s wisdom: "Tomorrow will be better than today." I also had a chance to reconnect with Michelin-starred chef José Andrés, whom I had met earlier this year at Cannes Lions, and it felt like I was a part of this festival of personalities, each brimming with new ideas and energy. For me, this week wasn’t just about rubbing shoulders with world leaders—it was a time to recalibrate Women Inspiring Network (WIN), to expand our vision, and to dream bigger. When I took WIN to the G20, I imagined its next big leap would be in New York, and here we are, driving our female-forward movement on a global stage.
So, as I look back on what I now call my “Soulful September,” I feel deeply grateful. The conversations, the connections, the energy—it all left me with a renewed sense of purpose. Now more than ever, I know that it's TIME to pay it forward."
