Swatch X Blancpain
Swatch and Blancpain have collaborated to create five new dive watch models that pay tribute to Blancpain's legendary Fifty Fathoms and the world's oceans. This partnership is Swatch Group's most recent endeavour, following the success of their Omega editions. Blancpain's Fifty Fathoms, which dates back to 1950, holds a special place in dive watch history thanks to CEO Jean-Jacques Fiechter's passion for diving.
The Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms collection replicates all the hallmarks of Blancpain's own diver's watches, including superior water resistance, mechanical movement, a secured rotating bezel, and anti-magnetic protection. These watches are named after the Earth's oceans and feature an illustration of a colourful animal found in each of the five bodies of water, the nudibranch, on the case back. The graphic is also found on the movement's rotor, which allows the watch to recharge automatically as the wearer's wrist moves.
These new Bioceramic Scuba Fifty Fathoms models carry on the brand's legacy, showcasing exceptional water resistance, impressive legibility, and unique designs representing the world's five oceans. These limited-release timepieces will be priced at $400 and will be available starting September 9th at select Swatch stores worldwide. There is a one-watch-per-person-per-day purchase limit.
