3. Dadel
Tales and tipples is what best describes Micheline star Chef Kelvin Cheung's cocktail bar, Dadel. Bringing his distinctive and dichotomous culinary flare to New Delhi, Kelvin's concept cocktail bar with an Amazonian flare is nestled in Basant Lok.
Inspired by the famous Greek inventor Daedalus, Dadel is an escape from reality into the exotic wild sanctuary of the night with beautifully curated cocktails and bar bites. The interiors pay a homage to Elsie de Wolfe's (America’s first decorator) style that represents a seductive and obsolete style of whimsical murals, trompe-l'œil wallpaper and frivolity. Decorated with bold hues of purple and turquoise, splashes of animal print upholstery and hints of gold figurines in intimate corners, catch the eye. A regal yet warm setting is what best defines the interiors of Dadel.
Dadel brings to you an enticing blend of cocktails where culinary meet mixology. Their must try cocktails include the signature Labyrinth, a tequila-infused smoky tea with pineapple, Figure a vodka infused raspberry tea, Behold Seven Youths and exilir consisting of saffron and orange marmalade blended with gin and elderflower. On the menu you’ll find innovative nibbles such as Japanese scallops drizzled with truffle oil, Norwegian salmon belly, delicious gluten-free sweet potato gnocchi and root vegetable chips with edamame hummus and more.
The cocktail bar will soon be accompanied by a restaurant Kiko-Bā, a restaurant that chef Kel is set to open on the first floor.
Address: Dadel, 62 Basant Lok Market, Vasant Vihar
