From parkas and puffer jackets in metallic finishes to functional ski tracksuits, high-quality thermal clothing, faux fur, onesies and the ultimate ski-appropriate accessories. Whether you're a beginner, a pro, or simply someone who wants to try the sport for adventure thrills, we have rounded up the hottest ski collections for the 2023 winter holidays and sub-zero days.


Fendi




From the slopes to the après-ski, this season Fendi's selection showcases the Maison's mastery of materials and heritage motifs in a sophisticated colour palette. A standout feature of the collection is the brand shift from their signature monogram colour of black and beige. This time the lineup boasts multi-toned technical outerwear with the monogrammed FF across puffers, jacquard wool sweaters and more. FENDI Shadow, an extroverted logo that blends shades including blue, lilac and pink, and the pattern commands a number of technical ski suits, anoraks and zippered jackets, fueling a signature high-fashion edge into performance-first, cold-weather wares. Down the line, the collection’s womenswear features a fox-fur ski jacket with a similarly saturated colour story and a jacquard belt.


Staying true to the brand ideology, an all-over “FF” logo print appears on matching jacket-pants sets and standalone puffers. The selection consists of a waterproof and windproof ski jacket with a fox fur hood and belt, the classic reversible puffer jacket with one black side and the other with a tobacco-coloured FF logo print, which can be combined with coordinated ski trousers. The technical underpants can be combined with outerwear and are made with a unique carbon thread-based fabric that offers thermoregulation, hygroscopy, waterproofness, lightness, and warmth, as well as antibacterial and anti-odour properties. Some reversible fur outerwear and accessories are made from 100% wool to add softness to the collection.



Louis Vuitton





Power down, and get comfy with Louis Vuitton's Ski 2023 collection. Blending sportswear details and refined craftsmanship, Louis Vuitton delivers a contemporary reinterpretation of alpine dress codes. Dynamic, streamlined silhouettes and iconic creations are enlivened by enhanced signatures and wintry textures for a versatile allure. The collection encompasses an array of meticulously designed pieces, such as ski jackets, puffer suits, parkas, nylon jackets, trousers, and


For men, LV introduces a rugged-yet-refined ski parka, made with black breakage topstitching, as well as matching trousers in calfskin leather, puffer ski suits, fleece jackets and cotton sweaters. Fitted jackets and gilets, meanwhile, don slope-inspired graphics, and an alpine mohair cardigan adopts a mountainous illustration. For women, the House puts forth a number of down-filled jackets and polished parkas, as well as ski pants, technical trousers and contoured leggings for on-the-mountain functionality. In accessories, scarves appear with LV medallions, while signature gloves, hats and caps offer wintery takes on classic LV shapes. Balenciaga




Balenciaga has unveiled its first-ever ski collection this year, making this collection one for the books. Under the creative direction of Demna, the collection features parkas, cargo pants, integrated snow skirts and water-repellent accessories. It is characterized by innovative materials and advanced techniques for visibility, insulation, aerodynamics and protection on snow. The skiwear selection will be available in pop-up stores and installations that recreate the winter atmosphere with design elements inspired by the world of winter sports.


The collection involves themes that have become Balenciaga signatures while introducing functional athletic objects—a snowboard, skis, a helmet, and poles for downhill, cross-skiing, or hiking—for the first time. The collection includes parkas and cargo pants in membrane-bonded technical ripstops with integrated snow skirts, sophisticated ventilation systems, battery life-saving pockets, and ski pass holders. From avant-garde silhouettes to futuristic details, each piece in the collection is a testament to Balenciaga's commitment to pushing the boundaries of conventional winter fashion. The outcome? A collection that is ideal for both ski resorts and city streets.



Dior





Creative Director of Dior Kim Jones has joined hands with artist Peter Doig for a ski collection that mimics the retro allure of the 80s and 90s. A collection that is inspired by the creative practice of the Scottish artist who is passionate about skiing, it was created in collaboration with the Japanese brand Descente. This year the brand has introduced protective helmets and masks. And finally, a version of the snowboard is also proposed. The collection unveils on Nov, 23


Chanel




Luxury brand Chanel Fall Winter 2023 collection titled Coco Neige is characterised by an array of vests, sweaters, and shearling. With this approach, the French brand is crafting the modern snow bunny fit for the Alps while fusing together ice sports and technical yet chic fashion, donning youthful and feminine pieces throughout the collection. The collection itself references classic ‘70s and ‘80s styles through padded puffer coats, belted jumpsuits, and fluffy shearling boots and cardigans, offered in iconic Chanel patterns like the brand’s interlocking C’s and geometric shapes in a colour palette of black and white with dashes of fuchsia pink and gold.



Balmain





Get ready for something new with Balmain's new eye-catching heritage house pattern, a new, special-edition performance ski from Balmain, hand-crafted by Bomber Ski. This special edition ski collection is inspired by Pierre Balmain's legacy of boldly combining Alpine adventure with Parisian elegance. The founder's passion for skiing influenced Balmain's fashion collections, with elements of ski wear style incorporated into the New French Style. The Balmain-Bomber version of the skis are handcrafted with a wood core and a design that features a mini-monogram motif, a creation of Monsieur Balmain since the 1980s.
